i will step into the unknown

I will listen to my own body

My own spirit guides

I never had it anyways

Not waiting for acceptance anymore

I have spent too much time waiting

I willl rise above where I am

I will not look back anymore

I will not set myself up for that

The failure

The type of thing I heard from you

You will not touch me anymore

I am worth more

I am capable of more

The light will shine through

Just like the ship burns

I will burn the past

I will set forth with newness

I have been gifted this freedom

No one can take it from me

Not again

The wheels and the mind spun last night

It brought to light many things

Many things to be angry about

Many things I never saw before

Many things I have learned I will not see again

The comments, the remarks, the critisism

I did not deserve any of it

You gave it anyways

I will not again, ever

I am not looking back.
