I am away from home for the first time in many years. I am visiting a family member in another state. I have resigned to the fact that I need to stay in my pajamas as much as possible. I go out and then come home and get back in my pajamas. In my mind this means that I am really on vacation. No college work, no work at the preschool. No tie to my dog and making sure he gets out in time every day. VACATION!
What a blessing it is to have somewhere to go and be able to feel like I am on vacation. It has been many years since I have been away for this long. It may snow in a few days. Snow is not normal for where I live. So this would be a new memory. I am so grateful that God has brought me here and I can make new memories while I am here.
I am grateful that I am able to work on my vision board from up here. I am grateful to be able to start having my own dreams. Creating them as I go and digging deep into my soul and heart to see what I want to do in my life. My next chapter is starting, well it has started and I am excited to see where it leads me.
